How's the Steamboat Springs area doing "Wet"?

Postby Kevrod3 » 09 14, 2013 •  [Post 1]

Heading there a week from today. Taking I-80 across from Ohio. Hopefully roads are clear, planning on staying in Cheyenne on Sat night then dropping down to Steamboat from there on Sun morning. Anyone have a certain route they take from Cheyenne to Steamboat?

Looks like the weather might start cooperating Thursday out there. Hope the bulls are going nuts and active during daylight hours.

With the Moon phase being full this week, will most of the rutting activities be at night just like the whitetails we have out east?

cdot has road closures on their website, would be worth a look an a good map vs a gps. I cant get to where I hunt without driving hours around the flooded areas. hopefully it will get better, good luck
