2 giants hit the dirt

Postby cnelk » 09 08, 2013 •  [Post 1]

I got a txt from Lou today and after waiting 20 years for tags, Lou [Jaqcomo] and his good friend put two great bulls down in NW Colorado this past week. They were using trad gear

Im sure upon his return he will post

This will be something to watch for!

Got an e-mail from Lou this Morning...he and Tom Kelley pulled those bulls out of that unit against unbelievably crappy conditions. 80+ years of combined elk hunting experience allowed them to second guess the habits of those bruisers. Both bulls were shot with 53 pound recurves built by Tom.
These guys are as good as it gets when it comes to bowhunting!

I'm happy to report the SLIP System was used (with the Open Country Camo Cover) to supplement a natural ground blind used on both bulls (gotta get the Sponsor plug in here)

Don't want to post the pics without permission from Lou...but they are on the Meatpole over at...well, you know!
Best of Luck,

Is there a rule against saying "bowsite" on here?

Referring to a "competing" forum has been an issue with some hunting forums around the web (not to mention any by name)

But I think Paul and John are pretty cool with it.
