Elknuts and Bullnuts

Postby cnelk » 08 05, 2013 •  [Post 1]

Spent the evening with another Elknut [Diggerson] having some Rocky Mtn Oysters and beverages.
Its been awhile since we got together and chatted.

If anyone else likes Rocky Mtn Oysters, let us know and maybe we can all meet up out at Bruces Bar in Severance sometime

Gimme some Nuts any day of the week! There is a little town about an hour from me, that has a place called "The Nut Hut". It is awesome food. I was spoiled on em growing up, as my Great Grandfather and Great uncle had about 2000 head of cattle, and when it came time for the annual nut cuttin', we were well fed for several days.

I always try real hard to leave something for the coyotes, bears, and vultures. They are an important part of the ecosystem too.

Anyone ever try elk "oysters"? They have beef and buffalo at Bruce's. This might be one of those threads that takes a wrong turn. Fast.

"how is it that you guys have so many photos of nuts? "

Well, it is better than hanging a pair of plastic blue ones off the rear bumper of my Ram...
