New to elk nut

Postby howler243 » 03 12, 2013 •  [Post 1]

Hey guys, Ive been watching this forum for a while and decided to join. I have not hunted elk before (mainly because its hard to get a tag in SD.) Elk is probably the only thing that hasnt been in front of my gun. I am planning a hunt to Montana (Galatin Mountain range). I know im new here if anyone has any helpful hints or areas that usually hold elk id be open to any tips. Thanks guys

Welcome to the forum. The tips are definitely here. Folks toss them out like we used to feed the chickens. You can peck around and pick up the ones you want and leave the others. Fortunately the ones who get here first don't get to keep them for themselves. They are still available for all. Enjoy. :)
