When are you heading out this year?

My wife drew an archery deer tag that starts on August 15th (this Saturday). We are heading up on Friday to put up the last tree stand. I’m also going to put up my tree saddle. Saturday morning will find us sitting for the first few hours of the day. Then we are going to go back to camp and spend the rest of the day with the family.

As for elk I think the first day I will be able to hunt is going to be September 3rd or 4th. This year we are super short handed at work so I’m not sure how many days I’m actually going to get off.

I head out for an extended backpack bear hunt on the 28th of August. For deer and elk though, I won't be doing much until November. I have a cow tag from Nov 4-8 and a late season Mule deer tag from November 9-15. I may get out during our general deer season in mid/late October with buddies that are hunting.

I am not sure if or when I will get to go.

I head out right around the end of August/beginning of September (just as soon as I can pull my hunting partner away from his house building chores) .

Planning on Sept 19 for archery. We are going scouting on August 21 though.

Im in charge of our church building cleaning this month
So as soon as the buildings clean Im on the road.


However Ill have camp set up maybe Wednesday
