WA Whitey, eat a rotten egg....

Postby WapitiTalk1 » 03 22, 2021 •  [Post 1]

As I was doing the paperwork to get Mrs Wapiti her spanking new 2021 Chev Equinox Premier last week, some butthead at the dealership pointed out a new Trailboss. I don’t like him and WWhitey, I hope a vulture drops a load on your new Silverado Trailboss. Man oh man, they are nice

Well, last Sunday I had a new white Toyota Tacoma Double Cab (not a crew cab) TRD Off Road with a six foot bed delivered to the house. It has the 3.5 L engine and automatic transmission. I have been neglecting you jerks here some because I need to learn how to operate all of the electronics it came with. I am nearly overwhelmed by the 312 page "Navigation and Multimedia System Owners Manual." It came with other booklets I need to know also. I got that model because they come with heavy duty tires. I hate those hen skin things that are put on most new pickups. They are junk when you get on gravel. Isn't it great that the Tacoma didn't come with even more electronic gadgets?

An equinox? You may want to get something a little bigger incase you have to borrow it from your wife to go elk hunting this september while red is in getting converted to a hybrid. We were going to surprise you, sorry if i spoiled it.

I removed the trailboss decals from the sides and the silver lettering off of the tailgate, looks a lot cleaner now i think (and harder to describe to the police  )

I see one thing missing that the new Tacoma has.
Hint: Where is your WapitiTalk bumper sticker? Never mind the police. They appreciate drivers with good taste and a WapitiTalk sticker will help you out of a jam as much as it will help you get a nice bull elk.

I remember getting kicked out of class as a kid, and I was even invited to not come back to school. I never blamed anyone else, especially those who observed my behavior.

I remember some Forest Service employees in the Methow had problems getting stuck in the Spring time. Going out on a rescue was fairly frequent. I remember walking in on a truck once that was stuck/sunk in to the floorboards. They wanted me to tow them out. I had them walk out to my truck and we called in a wrecker the next morning. At least I did not have to worry about it being stolen.

I traded the wife’s GMC Terrain in and so this is her new ride. She said I spend too much on elk hunting so instead of getting something for this year’s hunt I told her I wanted to do something nice just for her. I’m blessed to have her. I’m also blessed to have that new wall tent because it isn’t that warm in the back yard just yet.

Sounds familiar. Only it wasnt anything as polite as an "invitation"

Dont feel that i missed out on anything important or that my life was negatively impacted by getting the boot.

I never got into any real trouble. Skipping school or not shutting up when it was the teacher's turn to talk were my sins.
I thought it ironic that I got kicked out for skipping school, but it gave the principal an opportunity for a meet and greet with my parents.
Also in grade school I did not return to class when the horn blew signifying recess was over. Kicking me out of class for that made no sense either, and I have still not quite figured it out. I would have made lil Swede stay in and do something academic during the next recess. Lil Swede was not very reliable when it came to doing his homework, so detention would likely have killed two birds with one stone. That is just me, but I did not run the place.
I liked getting kicked out better than the 3 or 4 times I met the "board of education." I got that for not shutting up when the teacher started their boring lecture. I thought the teacher was rude interrupting me. How disgusting!

Test drove both a Ford and a Chevy the other day. The dealers are getting ants in their pants with the end of the month coming up.
