Who says fires are just for emergencies?

I used Pyro Putty for the first time this past season. Works great. I build fires all the time just to warm up and maybe dry off. Here’s a picture of me drying my gloves 3 seconds after igniting the Pyro Putty. One thing about it that is different than other fire starters is you can stick it to the side of a piece of wood instead of sitting it on the ground. Big advantage. It’s waterproof. Lights easy. I’ll give it a 2 thumbs up review.

great addition to the sponsor list. I just placed an order. this was an area of weakness in my pack that's been bugging me for a while.

thanks!

Used it and their plasma lighter to build a few backyard fires. They both work very well and weigh next to nothing in the pack.

Ive been trying to place what and where I saw something about Pyro Putty. I still cant place it.
We drove through Beaver last week. Still nothing.

Anyway I think a couple arc lighters will be coming this way, an Extendable USB Rechargeable Electric Arc Lighter for the RV and a Dual Arch Rechargeable Lighter for my packs.

OK I couldnt resist, I broke my Covid restrictions and hit the camping and dog sections of Sportsmans warehouse yesterday.
I bought a lighter and some putty. I spoke with the sales associate, an Eagle scout, who has and does use all the they Pyro Putty products.

Ive looked on-line and havent been able to find my previous trusted match/fire starters. Im tired of the failing bic lighters and wanted a sure-fire ( pun intended) fire method. `
Ive been "playing" with the lighter, beats stormproof and bics all day long

I did a review on Pyro Putty on here last year. One thing to mention is I used the colder temperature version. Works great but I have no experience with their other one.
