Help Swede

Postby Lefty » 06 04, 2020 •  [Post 1]

Almost for real

I’m sitting above my bear bait in a Muddy Hunter tree stand
The seat is at 17 feet
I used a real ladder to get up

While I can shoot but not much more, I need to pee . I need to get feeling back in my legs first
Now I have a cramp in my side maybe something to eat too

I’m sure I can come up with a dozen reasons to stay on the ground

Well stayed till the thermals completely switched
My first time in’s tree stand in 47 years

I’ll make some changes for this evenings hunt
First my 400 gram , size 14, boots won’t be coming along
I moved my pack rack up 16 inches and moved on the radius so it will be closer

Also moved the bow hanger

A couple weeks back my doc and wife sent me to the ER
I had an episode Of vestibular neuronitis,
I thought oh no
I need to strap myself in or get out of the tree then I realized the tree was swaying in the wind

Swede the other day you challenged us on what we’re doing during quarantine
I’m try to keep you up dated and your not even on the forum

Think I’ll nap now

I was working in the church by myself. I have the most authority of anyone that goes there. I am the janitor. On cleanup day, I decide what stays and what goes. Real authority I say. :D I must be doing a great job as a volunteer as no one has offered to take my place.
I am the janitor and not a doctor, so I can't help you on the testicular verminitis, or whatever you called it. I just hope it is not contagious and you stay quarantined. Enjoy your tree stand.

Hey when I go to clean the church others show up to help me!

It is our congregations month to clean. 15 -25 real workers and 45 minutes and it is good to go

When it comes to cleanup, our church has been practicing social distancing for many years. They could teach the epidemiologists a thing or two about that matter.

Sat still for 80 minutes stood up turned around to stretch, and there was little Boo-Bo tonight
If he shows tomarrow I’ll send an arrow after him

400 gram doesnt cut it in a treestand in the late season. Those are good hiking around boots, but sitting still all day come november, im rocking 1800 gram boots.

It’s been warm
I’ve gotten a bit more comfortable moving in and out but I have a sore rear
And I keep forgetting the saw
I pulled my other trail cams from old baits I could see where something had been short cutting from a 2 track to a canyon
A ways further I could see partial tracks
Then a huge pile of poo
I’m taking the call in tomarrow and a rifle, don’t know if it’s a black or a grizzlie

Lefty, I always stand to shoot. I can shoot seated, but prefer to stand and feel more flexible on shot placement while on my feet.
