Wtb Muskrat traps

Postby lilshootergirl » 06 01, 2018 •  [Post 1]

I'm looking for 6to8 muskrat traps in good condition, that I can set up in water.
If you can't find me, I'm not lost. I'm hunting!

LSG, I haven't trapped in WA before but I think you have to be very careful on the types of traps you use to stay within the law. I "believe" that conibear type traps are still legal for skrat but certainly check the regs first. That said, you can get those type traps pretty inexpensive through trapping websites, even at the Sportsmans Warehouse on line. In past years, I've had very good luck with the conibear type traps (again, please ensure they're OK to use in WA state).

How did I miss this post?

Some trapper supply places have used traps at fair prices.

Depending on trap locations may decide weather you need footholds or Conibear ( killer traps) And some foot holds such as a 1 1/2 coilspring can be adjusted used a multitude of animals.
But almost all footholds need some sort of changes from straight out of the box.
