WTB Mountain Mimicry Gear

Postby Elkduds » 03 07, 2015 •  [Post 1]

Core4, Sitka, merino, softshell, fleece, pants, baselayer, jacket, what do you have? Don't need a rain jacket, up for anything else in med-large. Watching Camofire, wanting to save $ on mildly used gear in good-excellent condition. Thanks in advance.

Probably b/c sales slowed down. The marketing types said "we need something New & Improved so we can sell more." Still looking for softshell pants, merino or softshell zip tops in medium size Mountain Mimicry.

Bad news, good news. I had 2 shipments of MM clothing disappear from the mail, likely stolen off my porch. Ouch! One was from forum sponsor Black Ovis. I talked to Tyson there by phone, glad to report they will have my back when all is said and done, but my size is pretty much gone in MM. In the good news dept, he told me there may be a new manufacturer producing hunting wear in MM later this year. So I'm still looking for MM soft shell pants (90%, element) and mid layer shirt, size medium/34, in @ least good condition. I wonder what the mail thief thought when he opened all that camo:twisted:

Good to know. Who's the possible manufacturer?

Tyler @ Black Ovis would not name the manufacturer. I asked, so I could contact them and encourage restoring MM.

I have a "brand new in the wrapper" Core 4 Element jacket in med. if you're interested.
Ordered it off Camofire on the chance that it might fit (I wear L, they were out), didn't so...

Thanks for replying, Backyard. See post #6 here, I'm after soft shell pants and midweight tech shirt in MM. Medium is my size in Core4 and Sitka. There is a lot of interest in MM on forum classifieds and even ebay. If yours were posted 4 sale here or there, I bet you'd find a buyer. Good luck.
