Grizz Identification Test - Idaho

I got 14 out of 15, 93%. I missed the first track question. Pretty similar to the test you have to take for MT.

13/15 missed the track and the young grizzly. I knew he was a grizzly but didn't use length of claws to determine it.

I use to use the Montana grizzlies and Washington goose and some states fishery "test" with my students as part of animal science. Kids loved it

Do we really need to know he difference when the answer is shoot!

I got 5 wrong, but hey, im not too worried about bears, you see what I do is buy a bear tag. Problem solved. Plus there arent grizzlies in NC, but if I saw one I'd be treed in a second. they cant climb can they?

In places with dense brown bear populations hikers often wear little jingle bells on their shoe laces to avoid surprising bears in high grass. They do that up in Katmai National Park and at the orientation they always ask "How can you tell black bear poop from grizzly poop?" Then they tell you that black bear poo has berries and grass in it and griz poo has pieces of black bear and jingle bells in it. :lol:

Thank god I never have to track a grizzly I got both of the track ? wrong 13 / 15 87% that's a better grade than school.
