Nice Eastern Whitetails

Postby Indian Summer » 01 03, 2015 •  [Post 1]

This first buck was taken in West Virginia. There is a 4 county bow only area down there. Hardly any deductions for those who look at scores.

This second back was taken in the regular archery season in Butler county Pa just north of me with a crossbow. I'd be happy for life if I shot this buck. it has it all... kickers, double drops, split brows, split G2s, palmation, and great mass.

Man Whitey you just rattled my nerves with that thought. Can you imagine

But even though that typical is monstrous there are others like him out there. I'd be zeroing in on the non-typical because he is truly a 1 of a kind. Then when he was hanging on the wall I'd look at him and think about the other one every time. lol

Makes all my eastern deer look positively tiny. I might fall out of my tree stand if one of these guys walked by.

Im bummed out that i just got my new property when antlers started falling. Im pretty anxious to see what shows up this year. Who knows maybe ill have something like that hanging out. Going to have probably 6 cameras hanging in my woods when the antlers start growing.
