Postby Lefty » 12 02, 2014 •  [Post 1]

Just op a steep climb is a sweet little water development that begs for a tree stand

The evening before she asked if we could go hunt "somewhere" I was tired, All my gear had been put away. So I dug out my rifle pack, optics and knife and loaded the ATV.
Left work as soon as the students were on the bus.Raced up the mountian, then hiked in.

Best hunt of the year. Never heard my daughter shoot :o She pulled the deer up to the "trail" then 600 more yards before I found here. She didnt have a knife. I gutted the deer by feel only. we had to wait till we got to the ATV to have light to punch her tag

Always know where the blade is, keep your fingers behind and to the sides , only without looking 8-)

Well I may deserve it, Had my index finger sewn back on 35 years ago,. my middle finger on my left had "fixed" about 5 years back and a cool scare on my left wrist , and the big scar when I was 5 ,..... Now I sound like Pat McManaus "scar story"
