Hunting in the Adirondacks park?

I know most of you guys are western guys, but thought I'd ask if anyone has hunted white tails in the Adirondacks in New York? If any of you have I'm looking for some tips and spots or just good stories for that area I'm from Virginia and have never hunted there yet ill be packing in to hunt there next year. I'm just trying to get a head start on the park be it that theres 6 million acres I can hunt.
