Glassing distance??

Heading out to start scouting for my August buck hunt. I have a choice of 3 vantage points. #1 is a little over 4 miles to the farthest place I want to glass with my new Razor (thanks Paul!) and I can watch the rest of the area so/so. #2 is about 2.5 miles to the farthest point Id like to glass and I can see the country better than #1. #3 is a spot I could see everything really well but I fear I would get busted by some of the bucks I am after. Which one would you use?

when in doubt get closer. thats the way i see it, but of course i also own cheap crappy glass, maybe if i had a nice vortex spotter id change my tune.

Easy, go with #2 in between and you wont get busted. Worst thing you could do is push those older bucks nocturnal before they lose their velvet
