What a year for my daughter!

So less than 2 weeks ago she shot her first elk, a nice 5X5. On Saturday, just before legal shooting time was up, she had a buck come out and check out the does in her food plot. She realized he was a good one and shot him. He went down and then it got dark. When we found him, there was quite a bit of excitement! We have pictures of this guy for the last 3 years. Mid 160s gross. Shotgun at 102 yards.

Man oh man, no doubt about that. An amazing season for the young hunter. A huge congrats to her!

What a buck! I'm not a whitetail guy but that is a dang nice whitetail.
