2021 Redemption

Postby Elkhntr08 » 03 04, 2021 •  [Post 1]

After the train wreck that was 2020, ‘21 is looking better.
Leaving in 5 days for a hog hunt with a buddy in Texas on his property. No limit, no time frame.
Illinois turkey the middle of April, then headed to Spokane for turkey and predator calling and hopefully Idaho for bear.
Should be able to draw a Wyoming antelope for the fall, don’t think I’ll get a elk tag there. Need to decide if I’ll put in for Colorado 1st rifle or just wander out later.
Only plan that has fallen through is the Canadian bear hunt. Not sure how to call that essential!
Hopefully everybody’s plans work out for this year.

Take lots of photos so we can “follow along” on your journey. Sounds like you are setup for one pretty sweet year! Good luck.

I hope you bring home a lot of ham and bacon from Texas. Just don't get Covid.

Texas was a bust. Neighbors started running dogs a week before I got there. Only pictures were of 3 pigs coming in an hour after dark.
Time to regroup, look for another hog hunt and think about turkey.
