way back when...

the below pic of me and my dad was taken circa ~1968 in northern minnesota
i remember the night before, my dad and i sitting up in a jack pine tree and my dad shooting this doe just before dark.

we went back the next morning and i got to do the tracking!

dad has been gone for many years now, but he is why i hunt...

Very cool. Some of my best hunting memories are from hunting with my dad and brother. I was about the size you were when I started hunting too.

To be sure it is a great picture for back in those days. I did not know they had cameras back in those days, let alone color film. :D
