YAHHOOO!!!!!
WI gun deer opener tommorrow, looks like it should be a good one. Lots of nice bow kills came in to my taxidermy studio. I'm trying to download some big bucks I have running around here.

How's the hunting Doug???? THere are little orange people all over the place by my house. It's kind of ridiculous. Sounds like a warzone. Doesn't anyone practice "one shot, one kill" any more? I'm staying low hunting gun season is over and I'll slip back out with the bow!

The regular gun season was great,I passed up a couple dozen bucks, including some nice 3 year olds, waiting for one of the older bucks to show up,no luck. My wife, now known as Mrs. H.(misses) had all the giants by her stand the first 2 days. She didn't get a shot at the biggest one,but could see antlers at 350 yds.,thats a big buck! She missed a big one at 280yds. on sat, then had the same buck at 80yds. on sun,but rushed the shot, and shot right over his back. I lower my standards with the muzzle loaderwhich opens the day after the 9 day gun season, and shot a nice 3 year old at 138 yds,he was facing away from me,and all I could see was the head and neck, ended up making a nice neck shot.I had 3 other bucks come up to my dead one within 5 min.of my shot, including the one my wife missed,a 19" inside 10 pt.
