Sounds like an adventure, and a hunt based on decades of experience. Great work and i enjoyed the read.

I missed the story, but the results of the hunt are what I would expect from one of your hunts. Again congrats.

My father in law stated a number of times,, This is my last hunt.
Now he didn't hunt like he had. but he went on At 80 he was using trekking poles on my daughters moose hunt. At 89 he shot his deer from an ATV with my wife in the baxk country.
He went on an elk hunt every year,,, at least visited camp in between.
