Turning Predators into Profit

Postby WapitiTalk1 » 12 11, 2019 •  [Post 1]

This is a Western Hunter article, written by Fred Eichler; I found it very good! There are more articles on The Western Hunter (banner and text link above) that are well worth the time to read. Go to The Western Hunter and use the "Read" drop down to find more. As I've mentioned before, their magazine is really the only outdoor magazine I subscribe to "and enjoy" anymore (well, that and Bugle), and, I think their hunting shows/DVDs are some of the best out there nowadays.

All they do is cost me money... now im thinking i want an ar with a reflex sight. Would take a lot of coyote furs to pay for that.

I use to really like Freds show. I quite enjoyed that he was always excited to hunt and very often his whole family was included in the hunt

There has been some reasonable money in western coyotes for years.

Too bad more guys don't hunt all predators

Im trying. Tally this year (so far,) all with hand calls. 1 male bear, 1 female bear, 1 male coyote, 1 female coyote, 1 female lion. I also helped several other people kill bears during spring and fall seasons here this year. In a week and a half ill be in idaho hunting wolves and lions unless that whole stupid employment thing interferes. Man, i wish i was a millionaire trustfund kid.
