O easy fried snow geese

Postby Lefty » 03 31, 2023 •  [Post 1]

With the flame on as low as it goes on the gas stove.

a tablespoon of olive oil
A layer of quarter inch thick onion.
With a ring of nacho sliced jalapenos around the outer edge of the onions, so they'll receive even less heat.
Place bite size pieces of snow goose on top of the sliced onion.
It takes about 30 minutes on my stove for the onion to
to cook
Add a tablespoon of good butter. Raise the heat a bit so the butter starts to brown
And stir the bite-sized pieces and break up the onions into rings
cook until bite size pieces are rare to medium rare.

Ive also know to shortcut my above recipe. Just pour on the Alpine onion seasoning!!. Last week at camp without onion and wanting to get back into the field a quick and hot 4 minutes and the geese were delicious.
