Taken during my sisters cow elk hunt.














I thought that was all the elk as they stopped running out. Put the camera back in my pocket and about 20 more ran out from behind that hill. I figured heck with it I was able to get most of them. Worst thing was, these ran in front of me after I was taking my sisters elk back to the truck on the four wheeler. Blood sweat and tears packing out not one but two elk as one another family friend knocked down a cow. It was an all day ordeal and these ran in front of me right on the road.

If anybody is good at editing pics I wouldn't say no to a cool panoramic pic at all those elk. If you zoom in you can see a few big bulls. There were 3 that I quickly scored as BIG as they ran through. I think there were 5 6 points in there.

Big herd, but they look a little too far away for my bow. Not a lot af good cover for a stalk either. lol

lol no not a ton of cover. My rough estimation was between 2 and 3 hundred.
