Elk Hunter Magazine

Postby CrazyElkHunter » 10 18, 2012 •  [Post 1]

Really good information for all stages of the rut by Paul " ElkNut" in the winter issue of Elk Hunter Magazine. My copy was in the mail box today. Also check out my story in the winter issue of Extreme Elk Magazine that will be out in a few weeks about life and death in elk camp, dedicated to my friend Ray Green that passed away in elk camp a few years ago. Both magazines are fantastic and the pictures are great. ;)

Are these magazines available on the newsstand or subscription only?

Yup, both are great mags. Actually they are the only mags I get now. I believe currently only by sub.

I like both magazines (Elk Extreme and Elk Hunter)! I would recomend getting both. I'm about done with all the others except for Eastman's which I still like as well.

Thanks Slim. I wish they could have printed my story with out cutting it down. It was edited down quite a bit to fit. They still did a very good job of getting my story across of the highs and lows of life and death in elk camp.

How many words was your final edit sent to them?
