The best all round elk reed we've ever designed !!

Soft and subtle for cow and calf talk yet has tons of backbone for ultra responsive bugles. This is a 1.5 layer reed. The top layer of latex has a special cut out section which allows the bottom reed to be a thinner latex for soft easy to make cow mews. The top reed with the cut out adds pressure to the sides of the bottom reed which adds stability and backbone for bugling.

For years we've been trying for a design that would give us the best performance for everyone. We have finally mastered the perfect all round reed. Just in time for the 2017 elk season !!

Sasquatch. Sorry I had the discount code set to start July 4th. It will automatically start and finish on set dates.

I will send you an extra reed for your troubles bud !! Totally my fault as it's the first time we've used the discount option on our website. It's a learning curve on the computer end of things. Lol as you can see I'm terrible on the computer end but I can make elk calls really well !!

No worries Tigger !! The Reaper and Patriot are both incredible reeds !! I'll be carrying both this season !! Although the Patriot has some really cool fluttering sounds while your bugling if you want that sound......which I built into that reed as I wanted that sound. The fluttering sound is that of an older raspy aggressively screaming bull.....It really sounds awesome. You can also bugle clean without the flutter sounds on the Patriot though, something the Reaper excels at !! The Reaper will not flutter though as its a single latex reed. So having both reeds is going to add some real excitement calling to bulls this season !!

In all honesty there is not another reed on the planet that sounds like The Patriot ! I've been working on this reed for 8 months and I'm super excited to be releasing it in time for the 2017 elk season. Many bulls are going to fooled by it's sounds !

Alright you chuckleheads, I ordered one of dem dar Patriots. I will post a review upon trying it out. If it is anything like the Reaper, I will love it!

Wapiti River puts out an excellent reed. They will definitely do the job on elk and they are easy to use. Let us know how long it takes you to learn to play Yankee Doodle on the Patriot.
