DAVIDE, Welcome to the W.T. camp. I did not notice you were new here until Elkhunttoo said something. I sure know nothing about hunting seminars in Montana, or Oregon for that matter. I hope you find what you want, but in the meantime join in the campfire discussion here. The characters here know a lot about hunting. You just have to get them away from the coffee pot sufficiently long to coax a meaningful statement out of them.

BTW: What happened to RJ today? Did he go to bed at 8:00 AM to get his "beauty sleep"? RJ, if you are paying attention, my advise is to save your money for hunting, and don't waste any on beauty creams or even cover-over slime either.

10-4. I am a fairly new resident to Montana and have stumbling around the forest during archery the last couple of years learning as I go. I may not be able to find a seminar but I will probably purchase some of Elknut's CDs.

Welcome to the forum DAVIDE1333! Ya, any of the calling seminars in the mountain states are kind of hard to pinpoint as they're not advertised that well. They are however, worth the effort to attend (once you locate them) as each seminar/speaker seems to offer something you can take away and put in your elk toolkit. The big sportsman shows is where you see quite a few of the calling seminars show up. There's a ton of good calling information in the Elknut Tips and Clips forum here on WapitiTalk you may want to review. And yep, the Elknut DVDs are well worth the price of admission and will certainly shorten a hunter's learning curve. Again, welcome to the forum. RJ

The great thing about Elknut's dvd package is how you can go back and revisit different parts whenever you want. With a seminar, you are done when the speaker is finished.
Also, it is not difficult to call up Paul and ask for clarification on some part if you want more information. Just give yourself some time when you phone. If you ask for a nickel's worth of information, you will get a full dollar amount. You never leave thinking you were a bother.

Years back Pocatello had Bugling in the Tetons. The International Sportmans show have some good presenters every year. While not a seminar many of hunting shows there is a lot to learn. from watchning their hunts.
Eight years ago I was new to archery elk hunting. Early on one other forum was my main source of info,.. When Paul started this site I spent my time here. . I bought some of his CD's and playbook, and watched the clips, over and over as they were posted.

PM me your addy and Ill sent you Eastmans CD of elk hunts( how did I end up with three of them,.. I never bought any?) But only after you have watched some of the tips and clips
