Montana Reminder.... app deadline coming up!

With the Wyoming draw results coming out two days me phone has been ringing off the hook with people who were successful drawing licenses ready to move forward buying hunt plans...... and hunters who didn't draw wanting info on the other option which is Montana.

Montana licenses have 100% draw odds so you can be sure you'll be going hunting this year. The application deadline is March 15th. I lived and outfitted in the Gem Sate for 12 years and hunted the entire west side along the Idaho border for over 30 years. I've killed a pile of bulls there and know a ton of country. I have a wide variety of plans so it's not hard to match my clients up with a plan that fits their goals and abilities. I also book for one outfitter, a very good friend and hunting machine who now owns my old outfitting business. He offers drop camps, semi guided hunts, and of course fully guided hunts.

In your position i understand why youre giving a reminder, but it blows my mind how many guys do the same on various forums knowing that it just decreases their odds. If everybody in washington but me and my friends forgot to put in for spring bear and moose that would be just fine with me!

Montana hunts are $1900 for drop camps, $2900 for semi guided , and $3500 per hunter for a 2 on 1 fully guided hunt. Add $1000 for a 1 on 1 hunt.

I assume you're asking about the 2 on 1 fully guided hunt. No taking turns. Well.... gun hunters can flip a coin for first shot but more often than not we split guys up here and there and use other tactics so that both are always hunting. Bow hunts are a no brainer.... spread the two shooters out to the left and right of the bull's location during setups.

No odds to worry about in Montana Whitey. They have leftover licenses to tags are guaranteed. They sell leftovers all summer. Although there is a permit required to hunt the areas I have hunt plans for and those must be applied for by the March 15th deadline. The permit is also guaranteed but the app has to be in on time.
