How often do you bathe and change clothes during a hunting trip?

I completely sponge bathe once per day, and wash critical areas more often. I do that even if I am spike camping. I like to be clean and minimize scent. I also change underwear every day and spray scent control on my outer clothes and day pack daily. I may wear outer clothes up to three days if I am not sweating significantly. I have a shower in the trailer, but seldom use it.

It was 11 days before I bath on my first elk adventure...did so then only after bear spray got all over and burnt me half to death. This time I hope to clean up at least every 3 days and will stop at a truck stop to get clean on the way out. Last time I had slept 2 nites on the way out and I don't think it got much below 80 so I was ripe before even starting the hunt.

Basecamp (SEP archery season): I take two pairs of pants for a 10+ day hunt; four base layers; two mid layers; one vest; one medium jacket; rain gear top and bottom; 5 or 6 pairs of socks and same amount of silk liners; pile of underwear; one WT cap . I rotate all the clothes depending on weather and hang what I've previously worn on a clothesline of sorts to air out. I use scent free wipes (the big ones) to take a spit bath every few days. Water dependent, I'll bath in the local stream every handful of days to get the grudge out of my hair/torso. I only use the scent spray if somebody brings it to camp but not normally. I really always smell like fresh flowers so really no need to worry about washing, lol.

Same as Swede,but no sprays During ML season,I also take a shower tent and a 3 gallon lawn sprayer that I hooked up a sink sprayer to .Heat up a gallon or so of water to boiling, Add enough of cold to fill sprayer and I still get darn nice warm shower. Nothing like coming in from a day of sweating, cutting up and elk etc and having a nice warm shower.Later season I take sponge bath every night.

A little bit of UV goes a long way in eliminating scent. Hanging lightly-scented clothes in full sun for the day can denature some of those stinky proteins and kill odor-generating bacteria. It's a simple way to take care of some 'laundry' in the back-country. Those same UV rays are hard on crisp camo printing, though! I generally wipe down at the end of the day. I'm a weekend warrior, and a light sweater though so I don't get real ripe.

Ain't climbing in the sack with a sweaty crack! Have an instant hot water heater with a small pump dropped in the stream. All the hot water as long as you want it. Hallelujah!! Nothing like stepping out of a hot shower into cold mountain night air with the steam rising of of you. You will be ready to go again tomorrow for as long as your in the mountains.

Hot shower every other day. We have a Zodi shower it is awesome it take about 1.5 gallon of water per shower.

I wipe down good with unscented baby wipes every night and change my socks and underwear every couple days. That's about as good as it gets for me 4-5 miles back.

I camp in my camp trailer and shower every morning. I don't spray down much anymore.

I try to sponge bath or at least wipe down daily...this some time does not pan out as planned. lol
