2016 Colorado Draw results are up now

I know most have been using the backdoor method to look at results but the official results are up now:

I did not draw my elk but will try for a left over limited tag and if not then I will try for a limited OTC tag. Oddly enough I was told that it generally takes 1 preference point for mule deer buck but I did draw that in the same unit and season. I did not get my pronghorn tag for another unit but oh well.

My question is, My first choice for Colorado was a 1st rifle antlerless permit which I didn't draw. My second choice was a 1st rifle bull permit. When will those leftover licenses draw?

It says I will get a leftover draw letter, whatever that means.

It looks as if leftover tags become available starting August 2nd.

Also "Youths 12 - 17 receive priority in the leftover draw."

If you are not automatically set to be in the leftover draw, you can apply by mail or online before they go on sale August 2nd.

BTW....I did draw my first choice cow tag. My GMU has unlimited over the counter bull tags.

They will be in the mail in the 16th of June.
