Hello, I have been a Lurker ever since the original Elknut site started, learned a lot, but more to go. I have 2 elk with rifle to my credit, an Idaho spike and Montana 5X5. Shot at a stick protecting a nice bull in Colorado 4 years ago, finally able to go back this year to attempt actually hitting the bull this year.

Welcome in to the campfire Tikka. There is plenty of room here, ya jus gotta watch out for pranks from RJ and Indian Summer. One will distract you, while the other removes a marsh-mellow and replaces it with a dried elk dud in your hot chocolate. I think it is just part of their mind games as the elk turd really doesn't hurt anything. :D

Welcome. I love snowmobiling the UP. Lake Gogebic to be exact. Good snowmobiling, hard on the liver.

Friday- Have you tried snowmobiling further north, More north you get the better it is. In fact some people are still riding near Hougton and north. Not groomed but they are riding. Probably hard on the kidneys!!

Probably less people the farther north. The first year we went the deer were standing on the trail everywhere because the snow was to deep.

Welcome aboard Yooper. I am a former Troll and now probably considered a Fudgie. Love the area up around you, but it has been a few since I was there.
