Use a sharp cut on contact head and place your shot in the correct position and you will have no problems.

If your close to em it shouldn't be a problem, but if it was me I wouldn't shoot further than 40 yards. Although if you do shoot one you'll probably have a longer than normal tracking job. If you do shoot one hit em with a couple cow calls right after and it might stop. Good luck

Definitely. Compounds store a lot of KE so use the right set up, arrow, and broadhead and make a good shot. I'm turned down to 50 lbs because of tendonitis in my right arm and shot completely through an elk last year at 47 yards. Wait for a good broadside shot and let it fly.

Yep, 40# + will get it done! Make sure your broadheads are razor sharp!!! Do not shoot them into targets & put them in your quiver without touching up blades! The new Viper Trick by Slick Trick would work very well for your draw wt & it's unreal sharp out of the package! Here's a photo of my son with his bull taken with 40# 400grn arrow with 3 bladed bear fixed head! Keep shots under 40yds!

Double check your State Regs. Oregon is 40# for Deer and 50# for Elk.
