Good luck partner, hunt hard & hunt smart & remember, aggressive action will kill more elk than non aggressive actions!

im back. didnt kill an elk but should have. learned a ton and had a blast. loved listening to the bugles even if they were all in the dark. saw several bulls but i personally never saw a cow to shoot. i shoulda hunted harder but had a blast with what i did. i do regret that i let a 500 ft almost straight up hill after a 6 mile hike in beat me mentally. but again i learned a ton and will be back, hopefully next year, to finish the deal. oh yea, i did call in 2 small bulls to 20 yds. wouldnt have been legal even if i woulda had a bull tag, but i called em in. now they are permament fixtures on my wall in a pic frame. my wife has a phone interview saturday for a job in colorado, crossin my fingers.
