First weekend in northern NM

The hunt started off way too hot the high out there was almost 90 degree! Didn't see a thing in the morning. Afternoon saw 6 cows no bulls. It was so quite out there nothing was going on. I threw a few location bugles, cow calls etc nothing. Day 2 was a little better saw a small bull but he was on the move and we couldn't catch him. Afternoon saw more bulls but never could seal the deal. Man it's way too hot! If you want something out here it's spot and stalk the way. Hopefully next weekend is more promising.
