End of August temps.

Postby six » 12 24, 2015 •  [Post 1]

Hoping to head to Colorado for the first week of Archery. I have never hunted this early before. What temps are you early Archery hunters running into at 10,000 feet. More concerned with meat storage than anything else.

Most likely 45-50 night time .Daytime temps could be anywhere, but expect Tee shirt weather during the day. High 70's not uncommon.
I live at 7600 feet and mid 80's very common

I hunt muzzle loader season the 2nd week of September and usually there is no frost at 9000 feet. but there have been times when I encountered snow. Rain is more likley
