snow in the high country!

Postby powderhogg01 » 10 21, 2015 •  [Post 1]

Finally some cooler temps and a few inches of snow on the ground in the high country of central CO. Good luck to anyone left with tags to fill, hoping this weather will be just enough to get the elk moving around. its been warm and dry all fall, its good to see some snow on the ground!

Here in SE Idaho it was cooler some nights in September than here in October.
We had a 2 inch and 3-6inch snow fall in Sept. However its coming. Sunday the ducks and geese showed up in SW Montna.

And last night I heard heard tundra swans flying over-head

Saw lots of Sandhill Cranes heading South to NM in Rio Grande Forest 10/10-14. and that means snow in CN. It's been snowing every day this week around Creede.
