New guy

First off this is one awesome forum! I had been lurking the past few months until i decided to register. Been reading some great advice to help newbie like me . All the info from elk nut himself and others really prepared me and dads first elk hunt to New mexico this past September! Long story short we both did not fill are tags but had fun time in elk country and are hooked for life!
Going into are first year we looked at it as geting experience if more then anything. Actually we had much success with calling in and haveing shots at elk everyday of are hunt but luck was just not on are side . Anywho, i look forward on learning more about this great sport from you more experienced guys.
