I picked mine by, previous 4 years hunt and 2 year fire reports. I believe if there is a forest fire, Elk are driven into other GMUs and will stay there, however some will return and after 2 years there will be Trophys in both. Saw that after the West Fork Fire. This year, plenty rain, plenty Big Boys!
