So, I didn't find any place to post any intro for new members to the forum. I have been reading some threads and they are awesome. I really like the change of pace here vs other forum sites and the info shared vs the normal bickering .

People that know me from AT, know that I'm on my 3rd year of bowhunting and still trying for my first deer or elk.

So, all that said, I need to get involved on this site as it definitely has more merit than most sites.

Good luck to all this season...I leave in 4 days for mule deer and elk hunting. Granted, I will be focusing on the mulies, but if we find some elk that will be a bonus.

Thanks Rory. I'm going after mulies instead of blacktail for the opener, maybe I will get lucky. If nothing else, I'm really looking forward to 10 days in the woods. In the end, the animal is a true bonus, but I really love being outdoors.

Welcome Collete! Stick around here and you'll change your mind about chasing mulies instead of elk!

I have spent years chasing mulies with a rifle, now I want to get one with a bow! Elk though, are on the front of my mind all the time. Now, I should share some elk stories when we were mulie hunting (rifle). The elk know that you cant get them....I swear!
