Paul, question/request

Postby jmez » 02 23, 2015 •  [Post 1]

Have you considered or looked into putting your work CD/DVD stuff on your website for purchase and download? Not sure what would all be involved in that but I would much prefer that format to a CD/DVD. Where I would like to have it is on my phone actually. I have some elk sounds on my phone and I listen to them with a Bluetooth and practice calling. I don't own a DVD player, my CD player in my pickup works occasionally and new laptop computers don't even come with DVD/CD drives anymore.

Jason, not sure what Paul has in mind for possible downloads in the future, but, I have recorded stuff from CD on my home computer and transferred it to my phone (I think it's using Itunes for my Iphone). I'm not the smartest computer guy so maybe somebody else can chime in on the "how to's". RJ

Depends on the CD. Many of them that are sold are locked and you can't record and transfer the files off of them. Like I said, I bought a new laptop about 3 mos ago and it doesn't have any optical drive. CDs and DVDs are quickly becoming things of the past.

Ya, I haven't tried anything except my old music CDs. May not work on newer stuff. Sorry about the thread diversion
