Maybe a new place to archery hunt.

Years back I "found" what looked like a bunch of elk living relatively easy to access area while deer hunting.
This year I walked into the area for an evening deer hunt, seemed like plenty of deer and elk sign.But hunters too
Friday i drove into the area, Another group pulled in. I recognized the truck as one that had been driving up closed roads. I figure there is plenty of room away from the ya-hoos. I left. I had picked out another two track a ways down the road and planned to hunt from there.
Well low-and-behold there was a developed water site that is inaccessible by a full sized vehicle.
I will definitely be getting Swedes book. Maybe the strongest reasons to hunt there, I can drop my wife off at her parents and the gas for the trips wont be coming from the hunting budget I would also be hunting deer at the same time,.. Ill be waiting till spring to put a camera on the water
I could even pull off a few evening hunts and be home.
Maybe my biggest concern,.. It looks like I might need to be 20 feet up in a tree stand

Sounds great, and don't worry about the beeing in a tree. I started doing the treestand thing because of bear hunting several years ago, and it gets easier each time. Don't attempt any marathon sits at first, start with a couple hours and go up from there. Just be safe (harness, three contact points while climbing, etc...) and the comfort will come in time.
