booya!!!!! I'm working a "seasonal job" and it's supposed to go into early October. I've decided that for me it ends September 14th :) . Two weeks chasing bugling bulls.....it's like a dream come true.

Both archery bulls I've killed have been killed before then as well. September 3rd and September 9th. I have a very coveted mule deer tag and I've decided I'll try and kill one of those big boys the first two weekends of september while they're still in their summer patterns. Have to bend a little somewhere. I feel bad for neglecting the elk during the first part of September so I'll make it up to them by spending two full weeks with them :)

It's so freaking hot here that I'm having trouble even thinking about hunting. I can't believe the season is less than 3 weeks out. Quick, someone make elk sounds in my ear and snap me outa this slump!
