For me to make a change after years of doing things the same way was a foreign idea and no I didn't change my bow or go to carbon arrows. I did something even more out of the realm. I changed calls. I have been using HS calls for better than 20 years. The idea that I would find something that would even make me consider it was ridiculous. But that is just what happened. I talked to Travis O'Shea and Shane Donner of Wapiti River Outdoors and they have me with calls I am excited about using this year. The HS calls are staying home. Why you ask, that is simple. I have calls that hit the pitches I want to hit and can get the volume I require out of a call. They are solid, the tones are clear and crisp and are smooth going up or down in pitch. I felt right at home with the calls in my mouth and that isn't easily done where I am concerned.
If you are in the market for new calls[all hunters are looking for new stuff lets face it] talk to the guys, it will be worth your time.

That's Fantastic Greg! I feel the same way with Glacier Country Calls. We are all a little different and everyone looks for something that will work for them. If it aint broke don't fix it. I am glad you are on here to share your knowledge.

I order some repeat calls (pink lady and a few others) that Travis sent me. I have been practicing with them all summer, that is good part right! Bad part is they have been stored in my truck in the hot sun all summer. Because that is were I practice, for saving marriage reason. I guess my question is do I break the new ones in before I use them in the field? If I do use them should I keep them in the refrigerator until I go?

No need to fridgerate your calls Friday. They're actually pretty tough and last a long time if just stored dry. Now, hot pickup cabs (especially in 80 + weather) and direct sun is a different story.

No need to break in the new calls !! All our reeds are hand built one at a time and stretched to exact same as the previous one !! Ya the hot truck has done in a few reeds for us as well !! No need to keep them in a fridge just dry them and keep them out of the hot truck cab temps. In your house they will fine.

Rory time for you to change! I like Glen a lot but it is time for another old dog to go kicking and screaming.

I agree they are an excellent call. I will be using the reeds this season as well. Excellent people to support. They have supported many of people on this forum plus others is suspect. So for that reason alone I want to support them. But they also have a much better sound then other reeds that I have used in the past.

Well we are glad you are happy with our calls Gregg !! We put many hours into them trying to design the most user friendly calls on the market. What we came up with was just that easy to use reeds but what surprised us is the championship titles that our calls have now won. We never designed them for calling on stage ! We want to call elk in !! There is nothing like fooling a big old bull on the mountain !!

To be honest we have been blown away by your comments and emails and with guys with your skill level in calling making the switch to our calls......well that speaks volumes !!!!!

under H2O hunter said it best when he said we support a lot of people on here and he was correct as we try to help many people every where and not just on the forums. H2O thank you very much for your support !! It's only with awesome people like you that we will move to the next level. We are striving to get better and better all the time and we have some very exciting new calls coming out very soon !!

We know its hard to try something new and we do not expect everyone to like our calls but if you give them a try we think you'll see there is a difference !!
