Ultralight tipi

I love to backpack into the wilderness areas . I hate crawling in a cramped two man tent. Feel like a groundhog after a few days .
Last year I got an ultralight tipi and a titanium stove . All I can say is NICE !!!.
It is the greatest camp . Plenty of room to stretch and enough to stand up. The stove is excellent . Get it fired up and start peeling off the layers until you are sitting around in your underwear.
Cook right on the stove too.
It is a little heavy but worth it when you get to spread out your gear and relax.

The elk would feed right outside the tipi at night . We would just lay there and enjoy the cow talk and bugling.

They are awesome I remember going up at 4 or 5 to my dads and g pas base camp and staying in one for a few hours till they got back

Are there many others out there that use a tipi ?
My friend thought I went ELKNUT's last year when I brought my tipi . Now he has bought two of them for this years hunt.
He is putting them a couple miles apart so he can hunt from one to the other .
He is good at scouting and had us into a lot of animals last year .

It's kind of a tipi but I'm using a Go-Lite SL-5 with a stove jack and Seek Outside nest.

Last year was my first experience with the tipi and I think it is awesome . I admit it is not the lightest setup . It is sure nicer than crawling in and out of the small tents. Two men can really spread out and relax. The warmth of the stove will give you that needed comfort and energy to hunt hard every day.
A Q Core is hard to beat . Feels like your bed at home. I see they have a lighter version out this year. I might have to break down and get it . Nothing like a good nights rest.
