Montana Outfitter--Cody Carr

Postby clambe9088 » 07 15, 2014 •  [Post 1]

I am booked on an elk hunt with guide Cody Carr out of Plains Montana. I did my research and I received good feed back. Your comments (good or bad) are welcome.

Don't know Cody personal but the name is familiar. He was licensed around the same time I was. Plain is on the Flathead Indian reservation. He hunts the Lolo which can be feast or famine due to wolves. You might read some negative things about the Lolo but don't let that discourage you. A good analogy of wolves would be like a tornado: We've all seen pictures or video of a tornadoes path where some houses are leveled... but the ones right next door are still standing. Wolves can be rough on an area.. but a few ridges away all may be well. I'm sure he knows his country as any outfitter does. Just do what he asks you to and don't lose faith. After reading your other thread I'm curious.. what week are you booked?
