Found some Elk. Will they be there come October

I am new to Elk Hunting. I live in Southeast wyoming. We have a tag for a pretty good area (11). I have the area we are going to go narrowed down thanks to help form forums, people living in the area, and feet on the ground. Found three different groups of elk in the Northern area near Arlington. Found large group of cows w/calves and then two other groups of cows and small to mid-size bulls. The elevation is between 9,000 and 10,000. My question is, will they continue to hang out in the area? They have plenty of food, water, and cover.

One other thing. I want to thank ELKNUT. I bought one of the ELK Nut packages with calls and videos. It was amazing. When I heard the sounds I could relate them to the video. I was also able to get the group of elk to stop moving and calm down when I walked upon them. I also was able to get some of the cows to walk towards me within about 40 yards. I sat and watched. They then just grazed off around a finger of timber slowly and I backed out.
