wolves, bears, or cats

We are looking to hunt the Gunnison area for elk 2nd season rifle in Colorado. I was wondering if there are a lot of cats wolves or bears in this area? if so is there a area where they have thinned out the herd to a small amount.

Nothing serious enough where the herds have been thinned out. No wolves at all, some cats and bears but, like I said, nothing where you would have to worry about a herd being thinned out at all.
