A few kill pics.

Postby FemoralArchery » 11 11, 2013 •  [Post 1]

First is my little sister. She is serving in the US Navy and came home on leave this October and went on her first elk hunt. She found this bull on the fourth day.

My buddy killed this bull a couple days earlier.

My dad guided the neighbors daughter to this buck.

You hunters got some great animals there. Congratulations. There are a couple of young ladies, that now may be enthusiastic hunters, which is great too.

That's because it is. We found him while archery hunting several years ago in an area where we never see people. I can't imagine what someone with kids was doing in the area we were. Its an extremely steep and dangerous road that is only accessible by ATVs. He's now the unofficial mascot.

I don't know if you consider it an encore when its a yearly thing. We(not me most of the time) usually get a nice animal or two or three every year (we have some very dedicated hunters in our "posse").

One of these days I will sneak some pictures of my buddy's trophy room (the one with the bull in the back of the ranger) I believe that was his 31st or 32nd bull in his lifetime.

Congrats to everyone. Nice to see your sister was able to harvest a nice bull while home on leave. And to the young lady on a fine looking buck.
