No matter how he got in this position, you have this bull exactly how he stands! He is 36 yards!!! Shoot or No shot?

Shooting! If I aim where the little dot is I’m good. That leg bone doesn’t run straight up it goes forward to the bottom of the scapula. You can actually see the bone running forward in that picture. Even if I hit a little to the right of that he is still a dead bull. And at 36 yards he’s right where I need him. He looks relaxed so it’s go time!

Easy peasy; rifle and muzzle loader aiming lower than Joes dot

Archery: Whats really going on? The bull looks calm, not too distracted , silly me,,, Im waiting for him to take that right foot step forward
Looks early season I wont get bent out of shape if he walks off and I dont get the shot.

However if hes looking at another hunter, and I suspect he is being sneaky and will bolt. I might be aiming with my 35 yard pin 3" down and one back,,, should clear the branch just fine.

It is hard to impossible to determine distances from a picture, but if the bull is 35 yards away as Lefty suggests, and the branch is 25 yards away; place your 35-yard gap between the sight pins just left of Lefty's dot and shoot at the branch. Your arrow will pass over the branch and should make a solid kill shot. Kids don't try this at home it is not a time for armatures.

Just about 2-3 inches below Joe's red dot will put you right in the V! Slam dunk if you are competent at that range.

Is that a cow I see he’s looking at in the brush? Maybe at his 2 to 3 o’clock?

Shoot! You have a 10x12 inch window into the vitals. Remember good form and don't punch your release. I hide my 3d targets all over the woods and practice for "sticky" shots all summer. As long as I can float all of my pins on the vitals in the window, I'll take the shot.

In the first picture I posted you can see some mud in the bulls horns. He is staring this wallow that got hit fairly hard last year.

First picture, I'm shooting. Second pic is a no go. You can clearly see the bone structure covering a vast majority of his vitals. No shot here. Wait until he drops that front leg.
