What’s your primary ELK weapon of choice this year?

So campers, all the draws have been done this year in mine and the good elk states (grin), what is your primary elk weapon of choice or by default this year to bring Mr Wapiti (or Mrs Wapiti to be PC correct) home for dinner this year?

Doubt I'll get to pursue elk this year, but if I do, it will be with my trusty Ruger 7mm Rem Mag.

I think this is my way of getting an elk this year. A couple of friends are hunting my old haunts for me now. Mike has the first elk for the season.

Will be leaving next Wed. (9/10 for a ML hunt.TC Impact, Powerbelt 348 gr, 80m gr of BH 209. Probably will more napping in a shady meadow than hunting. I am suppose to meet up with a youngster (76) and help him get his first ML elk. I will be trying real hard to not make this my last elk hunt. Didn't think the old man would get to me so fast.I think he snuck it the back door.Good luck to all you younger fellows

I enjoy the archery hunt with a older Mathews Switchback.
If I don't kill one with a bow,, Ill chase with a muzzleloader in November .

The only one I’ve got— a Winchester model 70 in .308 loaded with Buffalo Barnes 150grn TTSX. It’s my first elk hunt. Going for a Rosie cow. I plan to stick to 250 yards or less— hope it does the trick!
