When the movie is over you get up and leave. When the ball game is over, ditto, the play, ditto, and when you have killed your elk, ditto. You go home. So, is Indian Summer really hunting still, or is he just stalling hoping for an encore performance that won't come until next season?

Personally, I think he is just goofing off and has been for nearly two weeks.

The weather has been so nice, Like an" Indian summer!", Maybe he's staying up there for his namesake. We have been having incredible weather. Let's see if he shows up after the snow on Saturday!

I am going on a weeklong deer hunt starting tomorrow late morning. I may post again before I leave. If I.S. shows up let him know I will look forward to seeing his elk pictures and I would like to see a better wolf kill pic on the October photo contest. For all I can tell that could be any number of critters including the neighbor's mutt.

I think he has decided to quit working to live and take up hunting full time. Hunting beats working every time even though it is often harder.

My guess is that I.S. shot a big bull from a half mile away and across a deep rugged canyon. When he finally got to his bull, two men were already starting to pack it out.
